About AEO Wrangler

AI is the best argument for authentic marketing in a generation.

What we are

A specialist AEO consultancy for B2B companies.

We help B2B companies become visible in AI search by becoming the kind of company an AI should recommend: clear messaging, structured content, technical readiness, and earned authority, done in the right order.

AEO sits at an unusual intersection of messaging strategy and technical search infrastructure. Both have to be right. Schema and structured data are table stakes: they get a model to read your content cleanly, but they don't make it worth citing. Substance does. Most firms are strong at one side of that intersection and weak at the other. AEO Wrangler is built to work at both.

Our methodology is the product. We publish what we know: frameworks, glossaries, lessons, because knowledge belongs to the field. The companies that hire us want to do the actual work. That's who we're built for.

There's a useful side effect worth naming. The foundational work that earns AI citations is largely the same work traditional search has always rewarded. We're seeing AEO-first engagements lift performance in conventional browser search as well, without targeting it separately. Better search performance is a byproduct of doing AEO right.

What we stand behind

Five principles. Non-negotiable.

These are not aspirations. They are the filter every engagement runs through. When something you want conflicts with them, we will say so.

Foundations before tactics.

We will advise you to slow down before you speed up.

Most companies come to us wanting to move fast: visibility, leads, content, now. Our answer is almost always: not yet. Messaging clarity, ICP definition, content structure, technical readiness. These are not preliminary steps. They are the work. We will recommend a different scope than what you came in asking for if that is what the situation calls for. We would rather tell the truth early than take a budget and build on sand.

Authenticity is the strategy.

AI rewards companies that are clearly what they say they are.

We will not help you perform expertise you do not have or claim differentiation that is not real. What we will do is help you get sharper about what is actually true: your genuine point of view, your real audience, your actual differentiation, and make that legible to AI systems. Authenticity is not a brand value for us. In the context of AEO, it is a technical requirement.

Knowledge belongs to the field.

We share what we know. Publicly.

Glossaries, frameworks, methodologies, lessons from client work: we publish them. AEO is new enough that clarity in the field is a public good. The companies that want to do the actual work will hire us. Publishing what we know is part of how we demonstrate that we know it.

No surface-level services.

Checklists and dashboards that do not move anything are not services.

The AEO market is filling up with agencies that promise visibility and deliver reports. We do the work. If we recommend something, we either execute it or hand you a clear, actionable path to do it yourself. The roadmap we produce at the end of an engagement is built to be used, not filed.

Clarity on timing and outcomes.

AEO is a multi-quarter discipline. We will not pretend otherwise.

Real authority signals take time to accumulate. LLMs update their understanding of a company gradually as evidence builds across sources. We commit to the right work in the right order. We measure what is measurable, are transparent about what is not, and show you the trajectory without promising the destination.

FAQ

Who is AEO Wrangler for?

AEO Wrangler serves two audiences. The first is B2B companies that want hands-on help becoming visible in AI search: an honest assessment of where they stand, and an engagement to build the foundation that earns AI recommendations. The second is anyone trying to understand how AI search visibility actually works. The Glossary, Maturity Model, Insights blog, and Resources pages are published freely and without a sales agenda. If you are here to learn, you are welcome here. If the work eventually makes sense, you know where to find us.

Does AEO Wrangler work with companies outside North America?

Yes. Engagements are typically conducted remotely and we serve all areas of the globe.

Is AEO a standalone strategy or part of a broader marketing program?

Both, and the order matters. AEO works best when it comes first: clear positioning, structured content, and technical readiness established before you run campaigns, build out SEO, or invest in demand generation. When the foundation is solid, everything that follows performs better. We have seen AEO-first engagements lift conventional search performance as a byproduct, without targeting it separately. For companies earlier in their marketing build, AEO is often the most efficient place to start. For companies with existing programs, it is the layer that makes those programs more durable as buyer research behavior shifts toward AI tools.
